Description
The Farm "Il Sodo" is a holiday house located in the wonderful Chianti countryside and can offer you a quiet and relaxing holiday in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Moreover, its location allows you to reach easily all the most beautiful touristic areas of Tuscany. While staying at "Il Sodo", in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, make sure to visit the many vineyards of the area. Within 30 minute drive are the most prestigious wineries of Chianti Classico, with many opportunities for wine tasting. The farmhouse dates back from the 15th century was restored by its owners. The restoration has been undertaken with great care to retain as much as possible of the original materials. The result is a nice country guest house, typical of the rural Tuscany, with a simple furniture in the interiors and a charming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. The owners live in the colonica located next to the holiday house.
The Farm "Il Sodo" is isolated in the countryside, on the top of an hill, with an amazing view on the valley not too far from the main road (300 m). There is a nice pool (9x4 m) for a refreshing bath in the warm summer days. Olives trees encircled the farm, all guests have their own relaxing and shaded garden with barbeque, table chairs and deck-chair for cooking or reading a book. Good restaurants and shops are in the neighbourhood and we can help you for choose and book the one you prefer, or choose a touristy route, a museum, reach one of the medieval villages in the surroundings, guide you in a bike tour, prepare a dinner, a ceramic class, Italian language .
All our apartments are recently restructured and well furnished also for a long period stay: very comfortable beds, large kitchen, nice bathroom and independent heating. Furniture are simple and in harmony with the ambient, there are private external spaces and the owners will meet all your needing for a pleasant holyday.
