Description

The organic farm "PRATINI" is situated between Volterra (15 km), San Gimignano (25 km),Montaione (18 km) and Castelfalfi (15 km). It has been offering farm holidays from 1993 on. Easily to reach for a day trip are also the most important places in Tuscany such as Pisa (47 km), Lucca (52 km), Florence (69 km), Siena (70 km). For our guests we offer typical accommodations in independent farmhouses or apartments with swimming pool; the oldest farmhouse is dating back to the year 1664. The 300 hectare farmland, the private pond and the 2 hectares of wood are part of a nature reserve, where are living our nice animals, a pony and two "amniatini"donkeys. Our organic farm products are: extra virgin olive oil, flour,pasta, wine, eggs and honey. We offer weekly dinners (or at demand) in our new little restaurant with our bread, pizza and tuscan local products. Cooking classes: we make you learn how to make bread or pizza with our flour. The Floriddia's family owners live here and speak english, german and french. Each week we offer you a unique experience: Drive with of our wagons hauled by Giovanni's tractor through our fields and you'll discover a unique
countryside, wild animals etc. The trip will take approximately 35 min.
Two of the three pools are depurated through salt and have hydro massage; in some of the accommodations, warm water is produced through solar energy. During the restoration works was made use of many ecologically friendly materials.Each apartement has its private table outside in the garden , beachchairs and deckchairs. The next village and shops are just 5 km away, whereas horse riding is only 6 km away, golf course 15 km (Castelfalfi ) and a very good restaurant 7 km. The Tuscan coast (Costa degli Etruschi) can be reached in about 1 hour by car.
The 3 farmhouses, each with private pool, are situated in a magic and absolutely quiet landscape: la Capannina independent cottage with exclusive pool and hydromassage, whereas Pratini and Ruffilli have 4 and 2 holiday apartments each.
