The farmhouse is in the Casentino valley, an ancient land with an unmistakable appeal, in the province of Arezzo, in Tuscany.
You can visit Medieval villages, such as Poppi, Bibbiena, Pratovecchio, Stia, or let yourself be captivated by the spirituality of the shrine of La Verna and of the Hermitage of Camaldoli, both dipped in the wonderful Casentinesi forests. You can admire the uncontaminated nature, the Romanesque parish churches and the eco-museums of the valley. You can choose our farmhouse as starting point to visit the most famous Tuscan towns, Arezzo, Florence and Siena. During Middle Age, it was an ancient refreshment station for pilgrims who went to the Sanctuary of La Verna. It is a very big estate, consisting in more than 300 hectares of grazing and woods, adjacent to the National Park of Casentino Forests. The accommodation offers 2-3-4-sleeps bedrooms and 2-4-5-6-7-sleeps apartments. All the rooms have got en-suite bathroom, TV and they are furnished following the typical Tuscan manner.
The apartments have got a kitchen-living room, fire place and panoramic view on the valley.
Inside the farmhouse, there is also a restaurant, where our guests can taste the typical Tuscan cooking, a bar, a TV room, a big living room for the moments of relax and conversation.
Outside, the farmhouse is surrounded by big green areas with fields, pastures and woods. Ina panoramic position, there is the swimming pool and a playground for children, a riding stable, a cattle shed, a wood where pigs are and a place for donkeys. Not far from there, in the shadow of oaks, we offer also a van area with 8 sites.
In the main garden, in the shadow of maritime pines, when the sun shines, we serve typical Tuscan snacks for lunch, on request.
We offer our guests b&b treatment, with continental buffet breakfast, or half board treatment, tasting meat of our production, hand-made pasta, seasonal vegetables from our biological vegetable garden and natural sweets, prepared for our guests every day.
On the second floor of the farmhouse, we have also a big meeting room. The farmhouse has got a restaurant, a swimming pool, wellness and fitness area, playground for children, hiking paths and meeting room.
