La Fornace di Racciano is a lovely Bed&Breakfast a short distance (2,8 Km) from the historical centre of medieval San Gimignano. It consists of a typical Tuscan country house surrounded by a large flowery garden. In the past "La Fornace di Racciano" was a furnace that produced lovely terracotta pottery using locally dug clay. Today, the building has been carefully renovated to maintain the typical features
of the past, besides the modern comforts of nowadays. La Fornace di Racciano consists of seven comfortable rooms and four apartments, two of which are located in the ancient hamlet of Racciano.
Cristiano, the owner of B&B "La Fornace di Racciano", is a full-blooded Tuscan. His first aim is to cherish his guests and transmit to them the authentic Tuscan traditions, letting them discover the excellences of this region: history, landscape, art and crafts, cooking, wine.
This lovely Bed&Breakfast offers:
- Delightful tasting of certified local products such as DOP ham, salami and pecorino cheese of San Gimignano, bruschetta, fresh vegetables seasoned with precious extra-virgin olive oil, best foil with the excellent wines of San Gimignano Chianti and Vernaccia;
