In the heart of the Chianti valley, surrounded by grapevines and olivetrees, the charming Brunella and Alberto Mori receive their guests with great pleasure at Due Piani. Due Piani is a typical Tuscan farmhouse. It is rebuild preserving the main features of the original structure. The rooms have characteristic antique furnishing that contribute to a historical atmosphere. All appartments have balcony's with a panoramic view on the mediaeval town Barberino Val d'Elsa.
Balkony Piani 2 The vineyards and olive-groves surrounding the farm provide grapes and olives for wine and olive oil, produced on the farm. Alberto is happy to give you a tour through the winecellar and show you how wine is made. Of course you can taste too! All three comfortable appartments have an open fire-place, heating with catalytic stoves, a cooktop with four gas burners, a refrigerator, kitchen equipment, linen for any use and a TV. The rooms are modest, clean and proper furnished. To have an idea of the farmhouse, the garden and the appartments have a look at the online photos.
The farmhouse is located in the middle of the property (18 ha.) with vineyards and olive-groves. The lawn is beautiful with a elegant draw well, centuries old trees and beautiful flowers. The swimmingpool is constructed at exclusive use of the guests and ensures a refreshing dive. There is also a tennis-court, a table for tabletennis and a delightful barbeque. Garden furniture is available. A ridingschool is at two kilometer distance with the possibilty of ridinglessons and tours. Due Piani is located in the heart of Chiani, 30 km from Siena and 30 km from Florence.
