The apartments, completely restored and furnished with originality, are situated in the central main square of Tignano. Provided with every kind of comfort, they have a small private garden surrounded by a low stonewall and a laurel hedge and look over a marvellous olive-grove, the typical Tuscan cultivation.

The Tignano Castle is built on a hill at 334m, and has a typical circular structure of a fortified village. There is only one entrance to the village and nearby, there is an ancient water cistern and the 14th century 'Palazzo dei Begliuomini'.

House Roccaforte is a part of the old building "Palazzo dei Begliuomini" which was the most important building of Tignano in medieval times. The apartment, recently restored, offers a beautiful sightseeing on the Chianti hills. The entrance, at the ground floor, is gained through the living room where you can also find a romantic fireplace and some sofa for your relax. Close to the living room you find the small kitchen furnished with every kind of facilities. The nice wood stairway leads you up to the first floor where you can find two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedrooms are really well furnished: the wrought iron bed of the 19th century and the antiques wall wardrobes that you find in the rooms bring you back in ancient times. At the second floor the small attic is a perfect place to have quiet and to take a little bit of relax after a hard day.

The apartment is originally style furnished and enriched with all comforts and accessories such as large sunshade, seats and table for the garden and deckchairs. The large typically Tuscan garden (olive, brooms, arbutus, laurel) is surrounded with a low stonewall and it faces a wonderful panorama: the green hills of Chianti landscape.
