In the vicinity of the medieval centre of San Gimignano, nestled in the rolling hills of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, Agriturismo Niccolai – Villa Arnilù is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany’s most prized art towns such as Siena (30Km), Florence (35Km), and Volterra (25Km). This farmhouse is part of Azienda Agricola Palagetto, a local concern which produces exclusive wines and fine extra-virgin olive oil, whilst offering high standard holiday accommodation in 6 elegant double bedrooms and one single bedroom at Villa Arnilù.

This lovely villa of ancient origins is located 1500m to the historical town of San Gimignano and its famous towers in an elevated position, on top of a hill. Villa Arnilù, which is part of Agriturismo Niccolai, is surrounded by a large private garden immersed in the verdant Tuscan countryside.
The first settlement, the ancient watch tower, was built before 1000. The other buildings were added later on to form a splendid example of spontaneous rural architecture, so typical of the Tuscan countryside.
In a charming and elegant atmosphere, where guests can really enjoy the sound of silent, there are:

- Six elegant double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, and satellite TV;
- A single bedroom with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, heating, and satellite TV;
- Spacious living rooms with satellite TV and DVD player, HI-FI and a reading room, where guests can spend their relaxing holiday evenings, and a lovely dining room with a sweet aroma of fresh coffee and home-made cakes, where breakfast is served.
- Typical Tuscan food that can be tasted together with the prestigious wines of the estate. Meals are served in the former barn at Villa Palagetto;
- The estate products: fine-quality wines, Vin Santo (Tuscan dessert wine), grappa, and precious extra-virgin olive oil;
- guided tours of the producing farm, including the modern and fascinating wine cellar and the estate mill;
- guided wine tasting of the elegant local wines obtained with own-produced grapes. Tastings are held in the tasting room of the modern cellar;
- the panoramic swimming pool with a large sun terrace, enjoying lovely views over the medieval towers of San Gimignano;
- use of “Il Vecchio Fienile” (the old barn) with its fully equipped kitchen, tables and chairs, for those guests who can’t tear themselves away from this idyllic place, and last… but not least
- the friendly presence of the whole staff of Agriturismo Niccolai, Sabrina and Mario, the attentive owners, Sara who is extremely helpful and ready to provide guests with all kind of information, and Anna, who guides the estate tours and leads visitors in the magic world of the wine cellar and into the mill, introducing the local wines and the extra-virgin olive oil.
