In the vicinity of the medieval centre of San Gimignano, nestled in the rolling hills of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, Agriturismo Niccolai is perfectly located for exploring Tuscany’s most prized art towns such as Siena (30Km), Florence (35Km), and Volterra (25Km). This farmhouse is part of Azienda Agricola Palagetto, a local concern which produces exclusive wines and fine extra-virgin olive oil, whilst offering high standard holiday accommodation in 5 comfortable and exclusive apartments at Villa Palagetto, in the medieval Torre Palagetto, and its annexes.

Agriturismo Niccolai, in a hilly position just 800m from the historical town of San Gimignano and its famous towers, is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, and it is immersed in a huge garden towered by the medieval Torre Palagetto. All around there are a few ancient buildings, originally farmers’ adobes that have been carefully restored and now divided into comfortable holiday rooms for guests seeking for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful haven, enjoying genuine local food and excellent wines.

In the magic atmosphere of a long-lasting tradition, guests are offered:
- Five comfortable apartments where each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and satellite TV;
- Il Vecchio Granaio (the recently restored old barn) with its typical front yard: breakfast is served here, and typical Tuscan dinners with tasting of the prestigious wines of the estate can be organized on request;
- The estate products: fine-quality wines, Vin Santo (Tuscan dessert wine), grappa, and a precious extra-virgin olive oil;
- guided tours of the producing farm, including the modern and fascinating wine cellar and the estate mill;
- guided wine tastings of the elegant estate wines obtained with own-produced grapes. Tastings are held in the tasting room of the modern cellar;
- the panoramic swimming pool with a large sun terrace, which enjoys lovely views of the varied Tuscan countryside, with its vineyards, olive groves, cultivated fields and woodland;
… and last … but not least ……..
- the friendly presence of the whole staff at Agriturismo Niccolai, Sabrina and Mario, the attentive owners, Sara, who is extremely helpful and ready to provide guests with all kind of information, and Anna, who guides the estate tours and leads visitors in the magic world of the wine cellar and into the mill, introducing the estate wines and the extra-virgin olive oil.

the following prices apply to one apartment for one night (minimum stay of 2 nights required):
from € 90.00 to € 180.00 including linen (bedroom set and kitchen set) electricity, cooking gas , water, heating and weekly cleaning.
